Fitness Connection Health and Wellness Scholarship

This is a one time $1,000 scholarship given to a Scappoose High School Senior pursuing a career focused in health and wellness. (It is not limited to healthcare majors only; Just tell us how the career path you are choosing will focus on the health and wellness of society!)  The student must plan to enroll at a U.S. accredited college or university as a full-time, degree seeking student in fall 2026.

Applicants will receive additional consideration for any of the following:
-Being a first-generation college-bound student (neither parent has graduated from a two- or four-year college).
-Engaging in organized health and wellness activities at school.
-Regularly volunteering and working in the community.

In addition to this application, please include:

1. Two Letters of Recommendation  

2. Resume that includes 1.) GPA;  2.) any work, community service, and extracurricular involvement
