CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Arms and Abs

This class combines upper body and core strengthening exercises. If you stick with it, you will get toned arms and abs!

Barre

Barre consists of Dance and Pilates inspired movements which strengthen, lengthen, and tone your body.  Train muscles from head to toe using a variety of equipment such as: the barre, free weights, resistance bands, yoga balls, and your own body weight.  While you tone, you will also be working your balance stabilizers and stretching your muscles. This blend of ballet, yoga and Pilates can be modified for any fitness level. 

Boot Camp

Get in SHAPE with Boot Camp!  This combination of boot camp style exercises, high-intensity interval training, strength training and push yourself to the limit routines are designed to move your fitness level up a notch or two!  Each class is unique, but you can count on building strength, improving cardiovascular stamina, and tightening the core.  Some of the tools you’ll use are dumbbells, battle ropes, ladder, medicine balls, your body, and much more. 

Butts and Guts

This class targets the glutes and abs using strength and cardio, all to the beat of motivating music!

Chair Yoga

This is a gentle form of yoga that works on posture and balance. This class is great for all fitness levels and is especially helpful if you have a hard time getting up and down from the floor or have injured joints. You will be inspired by how much your improved balance will impact all areas of your life in a positive way.

Family Zumba

This class is designed for the whole family. Bring your kids and enjoy an awesome dance workout. There is no age limit for the kids, but they must be able to follow basic directions. Recommended age 3 and Up! 

Flex and Flow

This class joyfully combines several disciplines; yoga, upper and lower body strength, flexibility, balance, breath-work, and mind body awareness.   Get it all with Flex and Flow!!

Hard CORE

The name describes this class perfectly! You will complete exercises that will strengthen and stabilize your abs, lower back, and hips, to give you a hard CORE!

HIIT

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. This is a cardio class with alternating periods of intense exercise and less intense recovery periods. The class also incorporates full body strength training exercises which help to burn fat and improve metabolism.

Kick Box N’ Core

This class incorporates principles from kickboxing and core work. This class is designed for all fitness levels. Kickboxing provides a great cardio workout using foundations from martial arts and boxing all to the beat of great music. Core work will strengthen your back and abs to give you a full body workout!

Senior Fitness

This overall body fitness class focuses on building strength, balance and stamina, cardiovascular endurance, and comrade!  Some call it the Fitness Social Hour! Connection, Fun and Fitness Results are the major components of this class. Be a shining example of living a healthy, fit and fun lifestyle.  We challenge you to join in the fun!

Spin 

We bring you an outdoor cycling experience indoors with this class. Motivating instruction and driving music will keep you energized as you’re instructor leads the class through a workout comprised of hill climbs, flat terrains, headwinds, tailwinds, and anaerobic intervals. Each workout is different as the instructor picks the terrain and sets the goals for each class. 

Strength and Conditioning

This class uses body weight exercises, as well as  light/medium weights to tone muscles. Cardio exercises are also included to boost metabolism and burn fat. 

Stretch Ability

This is a flexibility training class. It incorporates dynamic and static movements to safely condition and stretch the body. Reach your flexibility goals in this class.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa style yoga is a spin-off of Hatha yoga which has been practiced for nearly 5000 years. Vinyasa style yoga focuses on the breath (pranayama), and the movement (asana), together they flow one into the other, ONE BREATH-ONE MOVEMENT. The pace can be slow and gentle, or fast and invigorating. Build strength and flexibility, balance and confidence.  Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and work at their own personal fitness level, yet challenging themselves enough to find their own personal edge!  Yoga encourages the connection between mind, body, and spirit creating inner peace, balance, strength, and emotional harmony. 

Zumba

This class is fun!  The workout is basic dance - just watch and follow. The moves are repeated often enough that you catch on easily.  The routines are repeated each week with new additions thrown in periodically to spice things up and challenge the mind and body! The atmosphere in Zumba is absolutely invigorating, and the energy contagious. Whether your goal is to lose weight, get fit, dance with a group of people and listen to awesome music, or to just leave your worries behind for an hour, the class will energize and motivate you and possibly improve your health in the process.
